basically one dropout has 6mm more space than the other. so if your running a single speed hub you need to get it dished if yiou don't have enough clearence for it not to touch the frame...i think i'm just going to shave a bit of that dropout down to even things out.

yes, it really binds to metal. well, too. too bad i scraped the top brake clamp bolt on the ground and it chipped! otherwise, it's lasted great, better than i expected.

hi, single speed i love for street on my p2, rele nice and would recommend, im thinkin about the deity crankset, but not at the minute, umm my rear hub used a conversion kit, its the ON ONE Ģ9.99 (bout $20 i think) from www.chainreactioncycles.com, great website use it all the time, i dont think theres any difference between the half lin chain and the full length chain, half link looks better on a SS i think, cheers dan

don't get it man - its jagwire steel-braided hose, and it is stronger, but less flexible. which basically means that where normal brake hose will flex, this stuff will kink, then burst. my front one kinked instantly and burst after a week, and the rear kinked about 2 weeks after installation. before this braided stuff, on my previous fork, i ran normal brake hose and the only reason i'm not still running that same housing is because the fork snapped. trouble free.

and my pike damper (motion control) was leaking, so i sent it back under warranty, i asked for an argyle damper back instead, and also i bought white argyle lowers so it'll be a sexy pargyle

i bought the wheels at my bike shop, they ordered it from yodo distribution, who ordered it from transition... as far as i know, you can't convert their front hub, try the azonic outlaws instead, 240-250 for the wheelset, sealed hubs, convertible on both ends. it's what i would've gotten if i had a qr fork and wanted cheap, strong wheels.

lol i was kidding with the fork and wheel crap, just trying to get flamed by the more gullible of riders here over the crappy xc fork. anyhow, that fork and wheel was from my old bike, and i'm waiting for my pargyle to come back from warranty so i can put my front transition wheel on!
